This week, PCC students in Ms. Tremain’s class worked to review, evaluate, and organize information they gathered and the career & self assessments they have completed to identify common threads. Students were challenged to THINK CRITICALLY to IDENTIFY & COMMUNICATE individual interest & skills to align to the CAREER CLUSTER(s) & in-demand occupations to EXPLORE.
- Carlos the Communicator – Assisted many students with their Portfolios & Interactive Journals by explaining his process and sharing ideas.
- Darnell the Decision Maker – Made the Responsible Decision to re-take Career Assessments to read and answer the questions more carefully. Although time-consuming, he found the new results to be much more accurate and helpful in Choosing Career Clusters to explore.
We Celebrate in the class as more and more students develop the Social & Emotional Skills to be Self-Regulated Learners while mastering the learning strategies necessary to be Life-Long Learners!
